নারী ও পুরুষ ভিন্নভাবে কথা বলা

এটা সবার জানা যে, নারী ও পুরুষ দুটি ভিন্ন স্বত্তা। কিন্তু এটা কি আমরা জানি যে, নারী ও পুরুষ ভিন্নভাবে কথা বলে? হ্যাঁ! অসংখ্য গবেষণা এটা প্রমাণ করেছে। পুরুষের থেকে নারীদের কথা বলার ধরণ অনেকটাই ভিন্ন। তাদের কথা বলার ধরণ পরোক্ষ ও সংযত। অন্যদিকে পুরুষেরা সুস্পষ্ট ও প্রত্যক্ষভাবে কথা বলে। কিন্তু তাদের কথা বলার বিষয়বস্তুও ভিন্ন। পুরুষদের কথা বলার বিষয় সাধারণত খবর, অর্থনীতি অথবা খেলাধুলা। পক্ষান্তরে, নারীরা বিভিন্ন সামাজিক বিষয় যেমন, পরিবার ও স্বাস্থ্যনিয়ে কথা বলতে পছন্দ করে। পুরুষদের পছন্দের বিষয়- ঘটনা। আর নারীদের- মানুষ। এটা লক্ষণীয় যে, নারীরা অপেক্ষাকৃত দুর্বল ভাষা ব্যবহার করে। তাই তারা কথা বলার সময় সতর্ক ও ন¤্র থাকে। নারীরা পুরুষদের তুলনায় প্রশ্নও বেশী করে। এটা করতে গিয়ে তারা সামঞ্জস্য রাখার চেষ্টা করে ও ঝামেলা এড়াতে চাই। এছাড়াও, আবেগ প্রকাশ করার জন্য নারীদের শব্দভান্ডার বেশী। পুরুষদের কাছে কোন বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা করা প্রতিযোগিতার শামিল। তাদের ভাষা অনেকটাই উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ ও আক্রমনাত্বক। নারীদের চেয়ে পুরুষরা সারা দিনে অনেক কম শব্দ ব্যবহার করে। কিছু গবেষক মনে করেন যে, এই ভিন্নতার কারন মস্তিষ্কের গঠন। কারণ নারী-পুরষের মস্তিষ্কের গঠন ভিন্ন। এই জন্যই তাদের কথা বলার ধরণ ভিন্ন হয়। আমাদের ভাষায় অন্যান্য বিষয় ও প্রভাব ফেলে। বিজ্ঞান এখনও এই বিষয়ে উৎঘাটন করতে পারেনি। নারী-পুরষ একেবারেই সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন ভাষায় কথা বলেনা। ভুল বোঝাবুঝি কাম্য নয়। সার্থক যোগাযেগের অনেক পন্থা রয়েছে। সবচেয়ে সহজটি হলঃ ভালভাবে শোনা।
