欧洲少数民族语言

欧洲有许多不同语言被使用。 其中大部分语言属于印欧系语言。 除了大国语言之外，欧洲还有许多小语种存在。 这些小语种语言就是少数民族语言。 少数民族语言与官方语言不同。 它们并不是方言。 也不是移民者语言。 少数民族语言由民族因素所决定。 也就是说，它们是特定民族群体所使用的语言。 几乎在欧洲每个国家都有少数民族语言。 欧盟目前总共有40种语言。 某些少数民族语言只在单一国家中使用。 比如，德国的索布语。 相反，罗马尼语则在欧洲许多国家都有使用者。 少数民族语言有着特殊的地位。 因为它们只被相对少数的小族群使用。 这些族群没有能力建立自己的学校。 公开发表自己的文学作品，这对他们来说也同样困难。 因此许多少数民族语言正濒临消失的危险。 欧盟想要保护这些少数民族语言。 因为每种语言都是文化或民族认同的重要组成部分。 有些民族没有建立联邦而只以少数民族的身份存在。 应该建立各种规划和项目以促进这些语言的发展。 人们也希望能保存这些少数民族文化 尽管如此，某些少数民族语言很快就会消失了。 其中正在消失的就有拉脱维亚地区的利沃尼亚语。 目前只剩下20个利沃尼亚语母语者了。 这让利沃尼亚语成为欧洲了最小的语言......
